Philippe Currat has 38 years of banking experience.
Benefiting from the bar qualifications in Fribourg, Switzerland, he worked at UBS, Hentsch & Cie, and other private banks in Geneva. Then he held a position as a vice director in the Secretary of Swiss Federal Banking Commission.
Later, he worked as general secretary for the General direction of Edmond de Rothschild for 26 years till his retirement in 2013. In this position, he was responsible for the legal, tax, compliance, human resources and marketing departments for this bank. He was also president for a “Family Office” and “Wealth Planning” subsidiary and compliance officer for the Edmond de Rothschild Group.
He taught for years and was expert for the Exam for Swiss Federal Banking Diploma. He created AVCOconseil Ltd, where his experiences and capacities in financial and banking institutions was benefited his clients.
